Zen Ad Blocker  is an open-source system-level ad blocker and privacy protector for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It works by setting up a proxy that intercepts HTTP requests from all applications and blocks those scripts that deliver ads, track and monitor your behavior, malware, and other unwanted content. By operating at the system level, Zen protects against threats that browser extensions can’t, such as trackers embedded in desktop applications and operating system components. Zen comes with a number of pre-installed filters, and it’s also easy to add host file and EasyList-style filters to tailor protection to your specific needs.
