WinUpdatesView 1.19 + Portable
WinUpdatesView – a new program has been released from many of the favorite developer Nir Sofer, I think the name becomes clear, after the launch you will be able to view the entire history of installed updates in your Windows system. The utility is able to get information as on a local computer using an API, plus it can work with the database of “DataStore.edb” – that is, you can simply write this file on a portable medium or run it on a remote computer, everything will work correctly.
Naturally, in addition to a simple viewing of the list of updates, you will receive for each maximum information, full name, brief description, the date of when the installation was made successfully or not, an update was installed if not – what error was, what category the update belongs, the URL of support, a small retraction note, update / service ID and other other useful parameters.
As you already understand, WinUpdatesView is presented in a portable version, which means that it does not need to be installed in the system, unpacked the archive, chose the desired bit of discharge, launched and can use. The program will feel great in Windows XP and above. In order to start working admissible with a remote computer, you need to press F9 – after selecting the desired values. There is a fast filter that will display only the update you need, press Ctrl + Q and enter the value, get the result right away.
Since the program has just been published (at the time of writing the article from November 6, 2019) – Russian support has not yet been implemented, it is likely to appear a little later and this remark will no longer be relevant, do not swear much. In general, an interesting program before us, I will follow the updates.
