Steinberg Dorico 4 – this is a new version of the software that is used in all company series products. The goal is to accelerate and further improve the way from inspiration to the finished composition thanks to improved work processes.

In the new version, the editor of the keys appeared in recording mode. This should simplify the adaptation of MIDI-execution to the score. For a better view, the view is constantly synchronized.

New and powerful MIDI import workflows should be able to interpret the tracks in an intelligent way. In addition, they can remember the user’s choice for future imports so that the user can always contact him directly again.

The insertion mode has also been expanded in the new version. For example, an editable stop position is now available. All changes that come beyond this point no longer move, but are rewritten directly.

Steinberg Dorico 4 added three new screen tools: a on-screen keyboard, a stamp and drum pads. In addition, a suitable touchscreen is built for Windows-based devices.
