Windows 11 users can use the Custom Context Menu program to add your own context menu items to Windows Explorer
The Custom Context Menu app will be useful to users who want to add new context menu entries to facilitate access to frequently used functions. The tool is easy to use, but there are a few nuances. You can use it to create only one root context guide menu. Programs and scripts can then be added to them.
Each record has the following configuration parameters:
- Title is the name displayed in the conductor.
- Order – the order of location of the item in the menu.
- Exe is the path to the executing file.
- Param – Parameters of execution.
- Icon is an icon of the program.
- Match Folder – show in the folder to choose from.
- Match File – File Extensions supported by an item. You can add a few entries by separding them with a space, for example, .png .jpg.
- Multi Files – support for starting menu items when selecting multiple files.
By default, one root record of the context menu is installed. The Click on the settings icon displays the parameters for changing the name of the root record. Changes must be saved before they become available. The changes are applied after restarting the explorer.exe process, rebooting the system or leaving the account and re-entered logging. All data is stored in the JSON file.
OS: Windows 11
